The Commonwealth Club - location
The Commonwealth Club, home of the Royal Commonwealth Society, is situated just off Trafalgar Square. Theatre land, Covent Garden, Soho, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament are all within a short walk.

By Tube
The Commonwealth Club is a two minute walk from Embankment tube station (District, Circle, Northern and Bakerloo lines). Charing Cross tube station is also within a three minute walk (Bakerloo and Northern lines).
By bus
Any one of the many London buses that stop at Trafalgar Square or Charing Cross will bring you to within a short distance of the Club.
By car
There are some parking meters along Northumberland Avenue. The nearest car park is the City of Westminster car park in Spring Gardens, SW1, off the west side of Trafalgar Square, or park on the South Bank and take the short walk across the Hungerford Bridge over the Thames.
By Eurostar
From France or Belgium, Eurostar brings you to Waterloo station, just one tube stop on either the Bakerloo or Northern line.

Access for disabled visitors
The main entrance to the club, at number 25 Northumberland Avenue, has 3 steps, but there is street level access to the club at Number 23 Northumberland Avenue. Please ring the door bell for assistance on arrival.
Number 18 Northumberland Avenue has a temporary ramp which can be placed over the 2 steps at the entrance to the club. As someone arrives, who requires assistance, the receptionist will organise for the ramp to be placed over the steps.
The 3 levels of the Club can be accessed by the stairs and by the lift. There is a disabled toilet facility on the lower ground floor level adjacent to the unisex toilet facilities.
